NEW YORK (AP) — For millions of American workers, the federal government took two actions this week that could bestow potentially far-reaching benefits.

Charles (Chuck) Tatelbaum, a director at the law firm of Tripp Scott, and chair of its bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group, has been elected to a position as a member of the Board of Directors of The Hundred Club of Broward County.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 2, 2024 – Tripp Scott today announced that Rachel Chaimowiz, an associate with the law firm, has been named Broward County Estate Planning Council Member of the Year.

As of January 1, 2024, the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) requires all entities formed or registered to do business in the United States, absent qualifying for an exemption, to furnish a beneficial ownership information (BOI) report containing information about the entity’s “beneficial owners” to the U.S. Treasury’s Financial Crimes and Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

Ed Pozzuoli, CEO of Tripp Scott, was named one of Florida Trend’s Florida 500. He has been named to the list for the past six years.

The South Florida companies chosen for recognition were determined through employee surveys conducted by Energage. The surveys measured such qualities as company leadership, communication, career growth, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits. To qualify as a "Best Place to Work" and meet the standards of a Top Workplace, Tripp Scott scored very high on the survey that was conducted.

Tripp Scott today announced that Thomas Sternberg has been promoted to administrative director, and Stephanie Mazzola has been promoted to director. Both attorneys were previously with the firm.
