Wilson Atkinson, a director with Tripp Scott, P.A., focuses his practice in the areas of Land Development, real estate transactions, entrepreneurial business services, and providing general counsel to developers and small businesses.  He is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney with more than 49 years of legal and community experience. He has served as Chair of the South Broward Hospital District, Commissioner on the South Broward Park District, President of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and has been active in many community and civic organizations.

Wilson has most recently served as lead developer’s counsel for the MARGARITAVILLE HOLLYWOOD BEACH RESORT on Hollywood Beach for which he received the “Top Dealmaker” award from the Daily Business Review in 2014, and as lead counsel for SEASIDE VILLAGE, a unique upscale residential community located immediately south of  Dania Beach Boulevard on the Intracoastal.

Additionally, in 2011 the South Florida Business Journal recognized Wilson as a top attorney with the Key Partners Award, and prior to this, the Leadership Broward Foundation presented him with its President’s Award.

Wilson graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Accounting, Insurance, and Law.  He has used his formal education to advise and assist clients in their business and estate planning endeavors.  His service on public taxing boards has further enabled him to understand and work closely with community and municipal groups to bring worthy development projects to fruition. While at the University of Florida, he was inducted into Florida Blue Key and was Chairman of Gator Growl. He enjoys five grown and married children, fifteen grandchildren, and a wife of fifty years.
