Ryan Horland, is an associate with Tripp Scott and focuses his practice in the areas of Land Use and Governmental Affairs.
Ryan’s focus stems from his experience in state and local government. Prior to starting law school, Ryan was the legislative aide for State Representative Bobby DuBose during the 2019 and 2020 legislative sessions. Prior to working at Tripp Scott as an attorney, Ryan interned at the Broward County Attorney’s office and during his last year in law school, worked for TSE Consulting during the 2023 legislative session.
Born and raised in South Florida, Ryan earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Florida. During his time in law school, Ryan served as an editor for the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law and the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy and interned with the Honorable Jonathan D. Gerber at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal.
