Tripp Scott’s Marianna Seiler DeJager Elected to Board of Directors of Historic Stranahan House Museum

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 29, 2024 – Tripp Scott today announced that Marianna Seiler DeJager, a director with the law firm, has been elected to the Historic Stranahan House Museum Board of Directors.

The mission of the Historic Stranahan House Museum is to tell the story of the birth of our community through the lives of two extraordinary people and the homestead they created and to serve as an enduring legacy for historic preservation.

The museum’s purpose is to preserve the Stranahan House as a museum, historic site, and social center for the community; to interpret the Stranahan House through appropriate restorations, exhibitions, educational programs, and tours; and to promote the Stranahan House so that residents and visitors of all ages are aware of their opportunity to learn about the history of the region, thus furthering the social, cultural and historic viability of the community.

Marianna is a director with Tripp Scott and focuses her practice in the areas of corporate transactions, entrepreneurial business, and general business services.  Using her legal and business knowledge, she aids entrepreneurs and established businesses in various corporate matters, including the structuring and completion of mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, real estate purchases/sales, contract negotiation and drafting, leasing, and general legal compliance.

Marianna is a fifth-generation Floridian and third-generation Fort Lauderdale resident, where she enjoys giving back to the community.  She currently serves on the City of Fort Lauderdale Economic Development Advisory Board, and previously served on the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks, Recreation, and Beaches Advisory Board. She is a member of the Executives' Association of Fort Lauderdale, the Notre Dame Club of Fort Lauderdale, and the Broward County Bar Association. She has completed Leadership Fort Lauderdale

(Class 28), Leadership Broward (Class XLI) and recently graduated from Women Leading Broward (Class XI).
