Alejandro J. Carballido is an associate with Tripp Scott and focuses his practice on estate planning, asset protection, and tax planning.

Alejandro was born in the Dominican Republic but was raised in South Florida. Alejandro earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami, and later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated with honors.  Alejandro earned his LL.M. in Taxation, with a concentration in International Tax, from the University of Miami  and was the recipient of the Director’s Award in Corporate Tax.

Prior to joining the firm, Alejandro worked at a Big Four accounting firm as an associate where he assisted high-net worth individuals and multinational businesses with a myriad of issues related to domestic and international taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and estate and gift tax planning. Alejandro later joined a boutique law firm in Miami where he gained extensive experience in estate planning and intergenerational wealth transfers.
