John M. Mullin, a director with Tripp Scott, focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate litigation, shareholder disputes, trade secrets, probate and trust litigation, business torts, and appellate law.  He is also a Supreme Court certified Circuit Civil Mediator and mediates cases throughout South Florida.

Previously, Mullin was a founding partner with Duke Mullin & Galloway, which merged with Tripp Scott in 2006. At Duke Mullin, he represented local companies and individuals in a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, including claims for unjust enrichment, construction disputes, theft of trade secrets, breaches of fiduciary duty, premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability, and countless other cases. In addition, he has argued appeals before the Second, Third, and Fourth District Courts of Appeal.  Prior to founding Duke Mullin & Galloway, he was a litigator with a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., firm. 

Mullin is a former president of the Broward County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section and a former member of the Florida Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Board of Governors. He is a graduate of Class XVI of Leadership Broward, where he was voted class president, and he formerly served on the organization’s board of directors. He is currently a board member of FLIPANY (Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth).

Mullin holds a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in English and History from Queens College
