Megan L. Valent is an associate with Tripp Scott and focuses her practice in the areas of corporate transactions and general business services.
Megan first joined the firm as a summer associate and returned after receiving her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During her first semester of law school, Megan was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Communication and Research Skills I. Thereafter, she became a member of Miami Law's Business Law Review and a student intern for the Investor Rights Clinic. Megan also worked as a research assistant for Professor Mary Anne Franks and as a student editor for Professor Michael Froomkin.
Prior to working at Tripp Scott as an associate, Megan worked as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Leslie B. Rothenberg at the Florida Third District Court of Appeal.
Megan earned her undergraduate degree from the Florida State University College of Business, majoring in marketing with a minor in communications.
